There are so many "gods" demanding our commitment these days. Then again, there isn't really anything special about "these days." The demands and temptations have always been there. The sorcerers and politicians try to convince us that they have all the answers, all the ways to lead us to wealth, health and happiness. They don't. How our society is technically organized is important, and the wrong structure can be disastrous. We have some ability to shape that organization, but it will never lead us to the place for which we were created. We - all of us - were created in God's image. We are blessed and holy from the womb. We have one Lord, and when we choose to follow him, Jesus, then we start up the road to salvation and deliverance. The choice is ours. The choice is yours.
